Giving to the YMCA

Care. Contribute. Create.

Care about the future. Help give the youth and families of Superior and Douglas County the opportunity to enrich their lives through Y programs and services! Without your support, many people who benefit most from our programs and services might not be able to participate. Your gift ensures the Y remains accessible to everyone—regardless of their ability to pay.

Contribute to the Y. One hundred percent of your contribution provides financial assistance and supports programming at the Y. You can contribute to our:

  • Annual Strong Kids Campaign
  • Heritage Club
  • Designated Gift

Create a stronger community. Through membership and programs supported by your giving, children can build self-esteem and discover personal talents at a swim lesson, a week at Day Camp or a soccer program. Teens can learn new skills while connecting with peers and positive adult role models. Families can spend quality time together during open swim or gym time.  Parents can work, knowing their child is in a safe, supportive child care center.  Adults can develop new friendships and feel more connected with the entire community.

Strong Kids Campaign
At the YMCA, one of our most important goals has always been to enrich the lives of kids and families in our community.  But when some are left out, it leaves us all a bit poorer.  As a person with vested interest in the future of your community, you can help these kids grow into responsible, successful adults. YMCA  activities help children develop valuable skills, gain confidence and build self esteem.  By contributing to YMCA Strong Kids, you can help us teach these young people such important values as caring, honesty,  responsibility and respect.

Heritage Club
A gift to the Heritage Club (YMCA Endowment Fund) is a gift that will keep on giving.  Only interest earnings from the fund will be used to enhance YMCA programs and facilities.

Designated Gift
The YMCA has many opportunities for giving.  There are always equipment needs, program needs and facility needs.  If you would like more information about designated giving contact the YMCA.
